Company Overview – Excelerate Group

Excelerate Group is an international market-leading provider of real time data, video, voice and Internet via satellite and wireless solutions.

Formed in 2001, Excelerate pioneered the concept of rapidly deployable, totally independent and resilient broadband via satellite, which now supports a broad range of applications in emergency incident management.

Catastrophic events, such as the 7/7 London bombings and the bush fires of Black Saturday in Australia demonstrated how fallible the terrestrial and public communications infrastructure can be and how important it is to have alternative resilient solutions for the emergency services to manage incidents effectively.

Excelerate’s resilient mobile communications solutions enable users the ease, freedom and security to transmit information (data, video, voice) in real time, wherever and whenever needed – without reliance on normal terrestrial networks.

Whether integrated on-board incident command vehicles, rapid response vehicles, or portable systems, Excelerate’s solutions are customised to user needs, simple to operate and supported by our in-house team.

As well as supporting the critical command communications of emergency responders, Excelerate’s solutions are also used in government, maritime, security, transport, national infrastructure and the utilities.

From its Network Operations Centre (NOC) located at its international headquarters in Cardiff UK, Excelerate provides a fully managed satellite service. Additional sales/support offices are located in Abu Dhabi (Excelerate Technology LLC), Washington (USA), and Melbourne & Perth, Australia (Excelerate Technology Pty Ltd).
