The Innovative Emergency Services Forum #Scotland
February 23, 2017 @ 9:30 am - 3:30 pm
About the Forum:
The forum is chaired by Luana Avagliano, Head of ResilienceDirect at The Cabinet Office and is designed as a platform for experts from across the Emergency Services, Tactical Response and Resilience community in Scotland to gain a clearer understanding of how to improve processes to provide better, more cost effective services by utilising innovative technology.
Working together with key partners including The Cabinet Office and Scottish Government, our Scottish Forum brings together expert panel speakers and presenters with a wealth of knowledge and experience from both public and private sector. Attendance will give you the chance to interact with experts from the field including Police, Fire and Ambulance officials, gathering key information that can be applied to acheive your organisations objectives whilst sharing examples of success that you’ve experienced with colleagues from across Scotland.
Key Aims of the Forum:
Identifying how to use technology to support a balanced provision of services that address national threats whilst providing a strong local service throughout Scotland that is bespoke to each communities needs.
Developing a progressive culture that embraces innovative technology, enabling services to organise themselves operationally to be best prepared to deal with the crime, disorder and social challenges that are being faced by emergency services today.
Format & Agenda:
The format and design of the agenda for the forum will include our new features that are used to spark more pragmatic debate and discussion, challenging delegates to explore new approaches that enables service delivery at the highest level.
Agendas will be designed using real life scenarios, allowing delegates to reference how they would approach certain situations and to give a clearer visual of the role of joined up forces and who should play what part in emergency response when the pressure is on.
